Open Door

Today it is warm and windy in Melbourne. It is 23 and I hope to have the washing dry before it rains in the early afternoon. You may have noticed, probably even grown tied of it. I write a lot about living in Jesus; about living through Him rather than living in the many versions of the knowledge of good and evil. Why? Because a life lived totally in Jesus by the Spirit is the guarantee of the defeat of Satan and all His works. Christ in us is the power that is the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
I feel like Noah and the ark. There is an open door. But this door, since the cross and the outpouring of the Spirit, is not a door through which we can escape death by drowning. This new testament door is a door that all may go through and receive an inundation of life!
There is a great flood coming. It is a flood of power from heaven; a flood of the Presence of God that will wash sinners and irrigate places that receive it with the multifaceted, restoring life of God. This flood will be accompanied by wild signs and subtle wonders. The surge will release the sheer life of God that overcomes the effects of the many forms of death that are common to those who live in the curse of death.
A day's work

TODAY began with a walk and some praying. I often do some intercession on my morning walks. I'm not an intercessor though, Not one of those who travail. My daughter is one of those when the Holy Spirit comes over her.
The Lord has been impressing me for a couple of years now to encourage His People both to employ HIs Spiritual gifts and live in the Spirit. Most people, I have to say, even among those who are charismatic or Pentecostals do not live in the Spirit even though many of them can operate in the gifts of the Spirit. No, sad t say many of us live in varieties of performance. If not living in the old covenant many of us live out of a deep seated need to earn the love of God and man by PERFORMING. The Lord says to us all, 'Rest in Me and I will be your strength and power in the world.'
I've written a couple of posts today, hung out the washing and brought it in again.
We are planning another foray into the shopping centres intent on using words of knowledge an healing to alert people to the fact that a real Jesus is at large.
